Meet Milly the Cyber Watchdog...

My name is Milhouse (aka Milly) and I'm a Pug in the prime of my life! I have learned a lot in life and I want to help protect you against my enemy - scammers! I hate scammers! Follow me on social media and I will help as best I can to provide you with the latest in general cyber safety, cyber scams and how to avoid them. Sometimes I will just be my cute self and do cute pug things but I would love to connect with you!
Now on to the real brains behind the mission:
Hi, I'm Am!
I study how scammers think, so you don't have to.
I started Cyber Safety Watchdog because I saw a gap: plenty of people were talking about what scams look like, but few were explaining why they work. Scammers aren't just criminals, they're applied psychologists who understand human behavior better than most of us understand ourselves.
My work focuses on the intersection of psychology and fraud. I break down the cognitive biases, emotional triggers, and social dynamics that make manipulation tactics so effective. Because once you understand the "why" behind a scam, you can spot the pattern in any context, whether it's a phishing email, an investment scheme, or a romance fraud.
I originally focused on scams targeting older adults, working with families to protect their aging parents. But I kept seeing the same psychological principles appear across every demographic. College students losing money to fake job offers. Professionals falling victim to CEO impersonation emails. Lonely people of all ages caught in romance scams. The tactics were identical, only the packaging changed.
That's when I realized: this isn't about any specific group being vulnerable. It's about all of us being human.
This is why I always say, "If you are human you can be scammed"!
No one is immune. It's not about intelligence, street smarts or life experience. It's purely about psychology and manipulation.
So please get it in touch! Follow us on social media and subscribe to our weekly newsletter!
I promise you will learn a lot about protecting yourself and your loves ones against scams and fraud!
